Welcome to Contextual Wellness
Personalised Counselling, Therapy & Consultation Services
con·text·u·al - relating to the conditions & circumstances in which a phenomenon occurs.
Context Matters.
Our surroundings, experiences, and interactions with others all contribute to the formation of our beliefs, values, and perspectives.
If you are:
feeling overwhelmed by challenging thoughts & feelings
struggling to break out of unhelpful or problematic patterns despite your best efforts
struggling in your relationships with your loved ones or;
experiencing past difficulties impacting your day to day life
You might feel there’s something wrong with you.
But the context in which we exist plays a significant role in shaping our thoughts, feelings, behavior, and ultimately, our identity.
You are not defective.
Just as water takes the shape of its container, we, too, adapt and respond to the environment around us.
Experiencing Emotions & Life Challenges are Universal Human Experiences.
You might feel alone in your struggles, and think no one else could possibly understand what you’re going through, but these emotions and challenges are a part of the human experience.
You are not alone, others before you have navigated these challenges, and you can too.
Together we can navigate these common experiences together on a journey towards wellness.
Hi, I’m Kirstin — a Registered Social Worker practicing Psychotherapy.

So whether:
You’re new to therapy, and want to dip your toe in to test the waters
You have some experience and want some support to wade across the ebbing and flowing of life or;
